SPUDS AND
SUDS
Periodically
the Deacons combine an after worship meal with a fund raiser. Spuds and
suds, a lunch of loaded baked potatoes with root beer is that kind of
event. Good times around the table and good food lead people to contribute
generously in the baskets in the center of each table. More pictures can

Mother-Daughter Banquet
The
first Sunday in May is the time that the men serve the women at the
Mother-Daughter Banquet. Any woman who is a mother or a daughter is
invited to join in the fun and camaraderie. Here are some of the men

Thanksgiving Dinner
On special Sundays, like just before Thanksgiving, our church
gathers for a festive meal. These are times to enjoy each other's company,
work together and get to know each other better. To see a larger version

Rafting and
Canoeing Trips
Each
summer youth and adults go camping and either white water rafting or canoeing
together. The trip in the summer of 2004 was a white water rafting trip,
preceded by a day at the Laurel Caverns. On Saturday evening we set up
camp and some of the younger folk went down the natural water slide.
